DAY 70 - Galway to Lisburn

The next day we headed off back to Belfast with a slight detour to see the Cliffs of Moher.

Slight detour being 1 1/2 hour drive along possibly worse roads than Ring of Kerry!! Alittle rally driving by Abby and we reached The Cliffs of Moher.

Which stretch for 8km and rise up to 214 metres above the Atlantic Ocean. The information centre was eco friendly and set in to the hill beside the cliffs.

Visitor centre in the hill.

We walked along the cliffs and wondered at the immensity of the cliffs then took heaps of photos like the rest of the tourists. Because that is what you do.

Then 1 1/2 hours back along the bumpy roads and we were off to see Burt and ruby Cooper near Belfast.
